androidnews.de: Could you give us some information concerning the progress of porting your much awaited games to the Android platform? Is there any specific date that we should mark in our calendars?

PopCap: We at PopCap tend not to directly “port” our games to new devices. Instead, we adapt them to each appropriate new device or platform, customizing the controls, graphics and other elements as much as possible to optimize the experience.

We expect to have four of our games available for Android in Q2 this year. In terms of dates, EA will release Bejeweled 2 in the Android Marketplace the week of January 17th. Plants vs. Zombies, Peggle and Chuzzle are our immediate focus and Bejeweled 3 will follow. We will be releasing these games for select Android-enabled devices. We have not yet announced the specific Android devices.

 Whenever, it won’t be long!
